Ole Gunnar Solskjaer raves about two Manchester United players ahead of Sheffield United clash

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped praise on two first-team players ahead of the game against Sheffield United. Solskjaer was asked about Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood.  The youngster has had a difficult start to the campaign, only scoring three times before Sunday’s match against Liverpool, where he scored his fourth goal. Cavani, meanwhile, has already scored 5 goals this and has assisted twice in his 17 matches.  “We think Mason is going to be very important in the second half of the season,” said Solskjaer. “But it’s not going to happen by itself just because he played a good game and scored. Mason has grown, matured, and he’s been training with Edinson Cavani for half a season now. I’m very confident that Mason will chip in with goals and assists.” On Cavani, he added: “What he brings is, you know when a striker of that age runs almost 12km… he chases down the centre-back, their keeper, tackles the centre-midfielders… He makes a mistake against Liverpool and he’s the closest to winning it back in his own 18 yard box. His reaction, his work-rate, his habits, his humility… I can go on and on. His experience and attitude has been a lesson for every single one of us.” United will be on action on Wednesday against Sheffield United.
