'Not worth' - Pundit claims Tottenham Hotspur man does 'absolutely nothing'

Steve Nicol claims that Cristian Romero is barely even worth £20 million. On Wednesday evening, Tottenham suffered a 3-2 defeat to Southampton, where Romero failed to cover himself in glory. However, Antonio Conte ahs confirmed lately via The Athletic  that there’s an obligation to sign the Argentine for £50 million this summer. And speaking to ESPN, Nicol has claimed that the 23-year-old is not even worth £20 million.

“I’m reading today that’s Romero’s going to be signed for £50 million." said the pundit.   "In my eyes he’s done absolutely nothing! When you play in the middle of a back-three you’re supposed to be the general.   "And you’re going to turn around and spend £50 million on a guy who you wouldn’t say he was worth £20 million.”
