'Not my job to convince players to play' - Nuno Espirito Santo makes bold claim upon player's request

Nuno Espirito Santo has claimed, it's not his job to convince anyone to play for the club. Spurs boss has broken silence by those words, after Tanguy Ndombele had asked to leave. The French midfielder is Tottenham's record signing, who moved from Lyon back in 2019 for a fee of £55 million. Last night, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano quoted Nuno's words claiming, that Ndombele will not be involved in the Sunday's squad.   The Tottenham manager boldly told during his pre-match press conference.
"We already had a chance to talk but it must come from himself. I said it before, my job here is not to convince players to play for Tottenham Hotspur, it is to prepare players to play for Tottenham Hotspur."
