"Not just anywhere, but with Chelsea": Chilwell reveals the reason he didn't leave

Chelsea fullback Ben Chilwell has revealed the reason he decided to stay at Stamford Bridge, unlike many of his ex-teammates. 

The England international first joined the Blues in 2020 from Leicester City. Winning the Champions League in his debut season has undoubtedly made the player grow a special connected with the club.

"I won the Champions League in my first season, and after seeing the reaction that it brought around the club, I want to feel that again with Chelsea — not just [anywhere] in football but with Chelsea," emphasized the 26-year-old.

Despite being confronted with several injuries, Chilwell has scored nine goals and has made 12 assists ever since his move to Stamford Bridge, across all competitions. The Englishman also suffered an injury during the most recent campaign, which proved itself to be an all-time-low for Chelsea.

"I want to help Chelsea get back to winning titles and winning cups. And I know that we will get there soon," said Chilwell with hope.
