"No thanks", "The worst player": Tottenham fans react as the club set to battle for 24-year-old midfielder

Tottenham fans have been reacting to the latest transfer speculation surrounding the club. According to AS Diario (via The Spurs Web), Antonio Conte's side have eyed Lille midfielder Renato Sanches for the January transfer window. The report claims that Spurs are set to battle with Arsenal for the player's signature. Here is how a number of supporters reacted to the transfer talks on Twitter. They don't seem to like the idea of Sanches' possible move to Tottenham.

And I don't think he's the right option because he failed in the prem once, injury prone, and has a similar price tag to mckennie and kessie.Just think we should try De jong first to be skipp's partner/competition. And if it fails, Kessie& Mckennie should be the second and third.

He's a swansea flop, and skipp and hojbjerg have been putting in really good performances so far. Theres no point in spending £20m+ we need a back up st or an attacking midfielder
