Former Rangers player Nikola Katic has taken to Instagram to send a message to Borna Barisic following Croatia's quarter-final win over Brazil.

Croatia celebrated a 4-2 victory on penalties against Tite's side in the quarter-finals on Friday as the game ended in a 1-1 draw and reached the semi-finals where they will face Argentina.

Barisic has made just one appearance for Croatia in their round of 16 win over Japan.

Taking to Instagram, the Gers player shared a picture with the caption: "even if it's a dream God don't wake me up, it's so beautiful ❤️🇭🇷."

Meanwhile, Katic took to the comments section and replied with three heart emojis.
