James has been restricted to late cameo roles in Bayern's first two Bundesliga outings of the 2018/19 campaign. He could make his first start of the season when Bayern Munich put their 100 per cent record on the line against pointless Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac faced to the press ahead of the Saturday’s match.
“The atmosphere in the squad is great and the players are working hard. If you focus on your job, you can achieve anything,” Kovac said.
“Everyone is fit. If you're part of the squad at FC Bayern, then you have the quality to start too.”
“It's nice when you play every three days. There's always a certain level of excitement among the players.”
On Joshua Kimmich Kovac has said: “I thought Joshua did a good job in midfield for Germany and I told him that, but we have no intentions of switching things around here.”
