Allan Saint-Maximin has asked Newcastle United for renewal, according to TEAMtalk via CaughtOffside.
The 26-year-old, whose contract expires in 2026, reportedly told his agent to start negotiations over a new deal with the clubs as he is keen to commit his future at St. James’ Park for a long.
Due to multiple injuries this season, the Frenchman has dropped out of his fitness and is struggling to adapt to Eddie Howe's system, who is considering listening to offers for the winger.
However, despite Saint-Maximin's not-really-remarkable form this campaign, the Magpies decided to keep him at the club after rejecting several proposals for the player in the winter transfer window.
