New shirt number Manchester United could give to Jadon Sancho

Manchester United had reportedly intended to give Jadon Sancho the No 7 shirt, as it was even promised to the Borussia Dortmund star. However, with that jersey now worn by Edinson Cavani instead, it seems increasingly likely he’ll be given the No 16 instead - which has been worn by club legends Michael Carrick and Roy Keane in the past, according to Express. United have been heavily linked with a move for the England international, with reports claiming the transfer move is close. Sancho is currently on international duty with England with their last group clash coming on Tuesday against Czech Republic.
