Barcelona new boss Ronald Koeman has considered Manchester City defender Eric Garcia as a "priority" target for the summer transfer window, according to
AS via
Sport Witness.
The 19-year-old has been linked with the move to Camp Nou, while reports had suggested that the Catalan giants are not willing to pay over €20m for the youngster.
Garcia has been called up to the Spanish senior national team, while his future at City is unclear, with Barcelona still not meeting the €23m bid for him.
However, the report claims Koeman is eager to improve the squad for the next season. That could mean the Spanish side will make an official bid soon, with the club new boss desperate for the signing to be completed "as soon as possible".
