The Netherlands qualified as Group leaders following a win over Qatar, meanwhile, Senegal finished second after a win over Ecuador.
If Southgate's side finish first in their group, their opponent in the last-16 will be Senegal. If England finish second in Group B, they will face Netherlands in World Cup 2022 round of 16.
