Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has won the European Golden Shoe for the fifth time and set another record in his career.
The Argentine international has scored his 34 goals in La Liga helping Barcelona to reach a 25
th league triumph.
He played his last game on Sunday night, although coming in as a substitute and didn't grab a goal, but he has done much of the work before the last game, netting 34 goals ahead of Sallah's 32 goals.

Messi has now won back-to-back Pichichi awards for the second time in his career and is two clear of Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who now hasn't topped La Liga's scoring ranks since 2014-15.
