Maurizio Sarri asks the board to sign £45m ace to replace Chelsea star

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants to sign Napoli star Elseid Hysaj as a replacement for Lazio-bound Davide Zappacosta. The 26-year-old has just made two league appearances and Lazio are in advanced talks to sign him, according to the Evening Standard. His departure will free up funds with Lazio looking at a loan move before an option to buy for around £13m. Chelsea boss wants to use that to fund a move for Hysaj. The Albania international’s has resisted signing a new deal at Napoli and the Italians are fearful that he will run his contract down, which expires in 2021.
