Premier League actions return this weekend and the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea will look to bounce back to winning ways after recording a pile of bad results. This weekend also offers London Derby, with Arsenal welcoming Tottenham in what is obviously a top of the table clash.
Matchweek 6 Premier League Predictions
Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest
The Citizens head into the game as the clear favourites to win the game against Nottingham Forest. Although football comes with several surprises, Man City not getting maximum three points off this game is massively unlikely.
Prediction: Man City 4-1 Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace vs Fulham
Palace will want to bounce back from last weekend's defeat to Aston Villa. They are a decent team under Roy Hodgson and will want to get maximum points at home this term. Fulham haven't been bad either, hence a chance for this game to end all square is likely.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Fulham
Luton Town vs Wolves
Wolves were unlucky against Liverpool last weekend after they missed a host of chances in the first half. If they can replicate that form against Luton, then they are likely to bag all three points. After all, Luton haven't performed well since gaining promotion.
Prediction: Luton Town 0-1 Wolves
Brentford vs Everton
The Bees will push to bounce back to winning ways this weekend afte succumbing to a tight 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United. Everton have been dreadful and are now proper candidates to get relegated this season. Brentford are strong at home, hence I expect a decent clean sheet win.
Prediction: Brentford 2-0 Everton
Burnley vs Manchester United
Manchester United are anxious to get back to winning ways. They raised many eyebrows when they scored three goals past Bayern on Wednesday. If they replicate that form against Burnley, there's a huge chance they get all possible points from this game. Burnley are yet to win a game this term though.
Prediction: Burnley 1-3 Manchester United
Chelsea vs Aston Villa
The Blues are going through a tough patch this season but this game is unlikely to go in their favour. That's what the majority of football fans will think but this game will take place at Stamford Bridge. Villa haven't been spectacular away from home and with Chelsea keen on getting back to the top, there's a chance they may nick this tie.
Prediction: Chelsea 1-0 Aston Villa
Arsenal vs Tottenham
The Gunners have gone unbeaten this season across all competitions. They have won against Manchester United at home and are gunning to maintain their home form beyond this game against Spurs, who have impressed too. However, Mikel Arteta's side are the favourites, thanks to the squad at his disposal plus home advantage.
Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham
Liverpool vs West Ham
The Reds have surprisingly gone unbeaten across all competitions. They won at Newcastle from a goal and a man down. They host a good side West Ham but Jurgen Klopp's side is likely to get the win, thanks to the array of quality players in his reach. Plus, Anfield is a no-go area for teams without top individuals.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 West Ham
Brighton vs Bournemouth
This is one of the easiest game for the home team this weekend. Brighton will likely win this game comfortably, mainly because their team is levels above Bournemouth plus the Seagulls already boast big win over Man United.
Prediction: Brighton 4-1 Bournemouth
Sheffield United vs Newcastle United
The Magpies will win this game, thanks to the character they showed against AC Milan in the UCL away from home. If they find that same boot against Sheffield, it will be another league win in the bag for Eddie Howe.
Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Newcastle United
