Premier League action returns this week and I have made predictions on each fixture including Manchester United vs Brentford and Arsenal vs Manchester City.
My predictions were made based on gut feelings and current form and as a result, none of these predictions is 100% correct.
Matchday 8 Premier League Predictions
Luton Town vs Tottenham
Early fixtures are fond of ending in draws but because Spurs have impressed their fans a lot this season and Luton have struggled to get good results, I see the visitors getting a comfortable win.
Prediction: Luton Town 0-2 Tottenham
Betting Tip: Away win
Fulham vs Sheffield United
One thing that I have noticed in the Prem this season is that good teams have rarely lost at home this season. Fulham's squad is better and I expect them to head into the international break with all three points.
Prediction: Fulham 3-1 Sheffield United
Betting Tip: Home win
Burnley vs Chelsea
The Clarets won at Luton Town this week. They have been playing well under Vincent Kompany but don't have the results to show for it. Chelsea are also playing well now. However, I doubt the Blues will get the maximum points at Turf Moor because Burnley will play higher up the pitch like they did against Manchester United.
Prediction: Burnley 1-1
Betting Tip: Under 3.5 goals
Manchester United vs Brentford
Man United may have struggled to win games at Old Trafford in recent games but they will always be the favourites to win games such as the Brentford one. The Bees aren't in their best shape too, hence a win for the Red Devils is on the cards.
Prediction: Man United 3-1 Brentford
Betting Tip: Over 2.5 goals
Everton vs Bournemouth
Both teams are struggling but Everton are slightly better, form wise. The Toffees may use their home support as an advantage to get the maximum points against Bournemouth but I expect both teams to score.
Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth
Betting Tip: BTTS
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
Both teams look even, hence I feel a draw will be complemented by both managers.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham
Betting Tip: Under 3.5 goals
Brighton vs Liverpool
The Reds will be without a couple of players for the game against Brighton due to the two red cards they recieved at Tottenham last weekend. Brighton are stronger at home, hence I have backed them to win but it will be a tight one.
Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Liverpool
Betting Tip: BTTS
West Ham vs Newcastle United
The Hammers started the season strong but after losing to Manchester City, it seems they lost their grip. Newcastle are in red form now, following their wins over Man City and PSG. I think they will get the job done in West Ham.
Prediction: West Ham 1-3 Newcastle
Betting Tip: Over 2.5 goals
Wolves vs Aston Villa
Aston Villa have been solid this season but facing Wolves away from home will be a tough game. The Wanderers won their last home match 2-1 against Man City and will want to maintain that momentum. It's a tight game, and I think a draw is possible.
Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Aston Villa
Betting Tip: BTTS
Arsenal vs Manchester City
This is the right time the Gunners can beat Manchester City, who will be without a couple of first team players. Man City have effortlessly won games against Arsenal but because they lack some quality players, there's a chance Arsenal could get their long-awaited win over the Citizens. A draw is also possible and I think that's the case.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Man City
Betting Tip: BTTS
