'Massive player' - Matt Targett absolutely impressed by one Aston Villa teammate

Matt Targett has praised his teammate John McGinn for his 'unbeliavable' performances. McGinn has played almost all league games this term. He scored only 3 goals and provided 2 assists but his work rate and energy in the midfield has been brilliant. Speaking to TalkSport, the Villa defender has referred to his teammate's importance in the team.

“John McGinn has been unbelievable this season," Targett said.   “He’s playing with real confidence and he’s a massive part of how we play.   "He makes a lot of things tick in the midfield, you can see how much he’s improving this season but also you see what a massive player he is, even when he goes away on internationals and how much Scotland rely on him.   “It’s great to have someone playing so well and him to make such a big difference for us as a team.”
