Marcelo Bielsa speaks out on Patrick Bamford following Brighton defeat

Leeds United suffered a 2-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League. Following the game, the Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa spoke out on Patrick Bamford. Bamford started from the first minutes against the Seagulls, however, he was replaced at the 59th minute as Rodrigo came to replace him. “No, I think not,” Bielsa said, as reported by Leeds Live, when asked whether Bamford could have done anything differently. “We had a problem in the creation prior to the ball reaching Patrick, where he had no influence and he could not receive the ball in positions where he can cause harm to the opponent. “When we can’t overlap outwide and when we can’t give the pass from the centre from a closer distance, it is difficult for him to shine.”   source - The Boot Room / Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
