Manchester United star Marcus Rashford sends message over shoulder injury ahead of Manchester City derby

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford has told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he’s ready to put his body on the line and ‘play with a bit of pain’ against Manchester City this weekend. The 23-year-old forward was struggling with a shoulder problem and had to be replaced with 15 minutes remaining of United’s 3-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month. And it appears the England international- who missed five months of last season with a back issue – is still experiencing some discomfort in his shoulder. However, talking to United’s official website, Rashford insisted he was fit enough to play a key role in Saturday’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford. "I have to try to control things I can control," he said. "I don’t want to miss a game, especially the big, important games. "If I feel like I can still help the team by scoring goals, working hard and making assists, there’s no reason why I can’t play with a bit of pain." Source- Metro Join us on Telegram
