Manchester United prepare £45m bid for David de Gea replacement at Old Trafford

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a bid for Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to the latest report by The Daily Star, via HITC.

The Red Devils will be looking to sign a new goalkeeper during the summer transfer window, with Pickford emerging as a potential target for the No goalkeeper role at Old Trafford.

The report claims United are willing to offer Pickford a significant increase in salary, with a proposed amount of £200,000 per week.

Currently earning £100,000 per week at Everton, the keeper has garnered interest from Tottenham as well, with the Spurs interested in the player's services to replace Hugo Lloris.

However, the Red Devils' advantage lies in the opportunity to compete in the UEFA Champions League. The club are allegedly planning a £45 million bid for the 29-year-old goalkeeper, with Erik ten Hag personally expressing his interest in acquiring him.
