Former England and Manchester United legend Garry Neville talked about Jose Mourinho and Guardiola, who both have won 20 titles during their career.
“When they both came in Manchester two years ago this was going to be a collision course,” the former United defender told
Monday Night Football.
“There was always going to be a winner and a loser. If you look at the head-to-head of these two managers and the titles they have won, they have won 20 titles each,”- Neville continued.

“If Manchester United were to win the league next season, Jose Mourinho would say that he’s come out on top over the three years period. If Pep Guardiola wins the title next season he will say he is starting to dominate English football and produce a great side, saying his team are the winner and he is the winner so next season is critical.”
“This season there is no doubt that Guardiola has stolen in front. Mourinho can still end the season with a trophy to add to the two of last season, so you can’t say he’s been a failure but over a three-year period, it’s who wins the Premier League titles that will come out the winner.
“Next season is absolutely critical for both managers.”
Neville thinks that no matter what his former team will bounce back and win the PL next season.
