Manchester City V Chelsea: Latest injury update on club. Pulisic, Ederson

Frank Lampard has confirmed that Christian Pulisic is fit and in contention to face Manchester City tomorrow (Saturday). Manchester City have fallen 9 points behind in the Premier League title race and in order to keep their hopes up, they must find back the winning key which allowed them to win 14 matches in-a-row to seal the title last season. Lampard’s Chelsea side, on the other hand, are high on confidence. They visit Etihad Stadium on the back of seven away wins in a row in all competitions. A win for the Blues could send them second in the table should Leicester fail to beat Brighton. Lampard has confirmed that Pulisic should be available to play against Guardiola's men tomorrow. "He didn’t go, he was struggling against Palace. He has been training and is in contention," Lampard said, speaking at his pre-match press conference ." However, there was not such good news about one of his team-mates, with Lampard confirming that Callum Hudson-Odoi is likely to miss the game. "Callum has a hamstring problem, he is struggling to make this game," he said. Meanwhile, Lampard said there was no further news on Ruben Loftus-Cheek as the midfielder continues his recovery from an Achilles injury, having not featured yet for the Blues this season. Guardiola, meanwhile, has confirmed that the club have received a major injury boost. “Laporte and Sane are still injured for two or three months," Guardiola added.
