According to the top new rankings of football’s best teams FiveThirtyEight, Manchester City have been rated the best team in the world.

The football researchers produced a Soccer Power Index (SPI) that ranks teams by giving them an offensive and defensive rating.

Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Barcelona and Chelsea make up the top five.

PSG were ranked sixth, Real Madrid seventh, Tottenham 12th, Juventus 15th and Arsenal 28th.

Tacoma Defiance, who are in the USA's second division, were ranked the worst team in the world.
