Manchester City to scupper Manchester United as race for €100m superstar continues

Manchester City will offer “unexpected competition” for England superstar Jadon Sancho to put the test for Manchester United. Sancho left City in 2017 as his future playing time was unclear. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team have long been reported to be keen admirers of the 19-year-old. However, SportBild (via SportWitness) revealed that Pep Guardiola’s side will do battle with United for Sancho’s signature. The publication states:  ‘any approach from either of the two Manchester clubs for Sancho could see them spend heavily because he will cost in excess of €100m.’
