Manchester City reach agreement with Leeds United star

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign Kalvin Phillips, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein. City are poised to pay £42m + £3m for the midfielder.

Pep Guardiola's side have already signed Erling Haaland during this summer transfer window ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign.

Phillips is one of the key Leeds players. He has been with the Whites since 2015 and is contracted at the club until 2024.

During the previous campaign, the 26-year-old made overall 23 appearances in which he scored one goal and provided one assist.
