Manchester City have targeted Everton defender Lucas Digne for the summer transfer window.
The Citizens are keen on bringing their Premier League trophy back next season, with the club boss looking for improving the squad.
Pep Guardiola's side have been linked with Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell. However,
ESPN claims they are reluctant to sign the player with a £75million price tag. So, they have eyed Digne, considering him a cheaper alternative to the Foxes' defender.
The 27-year-old joined Everton from Barcelona for £17m back in August 2018. This term he has made 33 appearances, scoring one goal and providing 7 assists for his side.
Everton are reported to demand "high fee" for Digne. However, the defender is still expected to be cheaper than Chilwell.
