Manchester City are set to face Leeds United on Tuesday evening, as the Premier League action continues.
And ahead of the match, the Cityzens have been handed a major boost over Ilkay Gundogan.
The midfielder has recovered from injury in time to be available to face Leeds.
Gundogan was taken off ten minutes into the second half of the Premier League win over Wolves at the weekend, with Pep Guardiola explaining afterwards that the midfielder has been having problems with his back.
But Guardiola confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Germany international would be available for Leeds - as is everyone in the squad but for Ferran Torres, who remains injured.
City boss also encouraged his players to get the booster for the Covid vaccine as he revealed that some City staff have tested positive.
"Absolutely. The doctors suggest we have to do it," he said. "Most of us have had it already and I think the players have to decide if they are going to do it.
"I'm concerned not because the Premier League could have a break or be cancelled, I'm concerned because the virus is still here in society and people suffer. We have seen with Tottenham, Norwich, Leicester and United - there are many and some staff here have got it right now. We spoke with the players almost every day: be careful, stay safe, stay healthy, masks, social distance because now in the Christmastime the tendency is to gout and do something extra.
"It's normal but unfortunately the virus is still here - the new variant and the old variant. Hopefully 95% of the people here is already vaccinated. You can still get it but that doesn't allow you to suffer much, but cases are rising day by day."
