Mancheter City could sell youngster Jayden Braaf in the January transfer window just a year after he signed a lengthy extension at the club, claims
Manchester Evening News.
The player was left out of the last five Under-23s matches and promotion to the first team is not as realistic any time soon, a move away as soon as next month is being explored as a solution to the current issue of the player and club not currently being on the same page.
The 18-year-old quickly established himself as one of the top prospects in the Manchester City academy after his move from PSV Eindhoven in 2018 and stepped up to the Under-23s team with ease.
However, Braaf's attempts to reach the top at City have not been without turbulence. Pep Guardiola has called for patience whenever he has been asked about the prospect, but the player was upset over a miscommunication in the summer when it was not made clear to him why he would not be joining first-team training following the pandemic.
Braaf made important contributions in the FA Youth Cup including a key role in the winning goal as the club won the competition for the first time in 12 years.
