Manchester City confident the player to sign a contract extension after positive talks

Manchester City are confident to sign a new contract with Bernardo Silva, according to The Times journalist Pol Ballús. The Portuguese professional was close to leaving Etihad last summer as a move to Spain would help him to be closer to his family. However, Silva ended up staying with the Citizens and currently plays a key role at Pep Guardiola's squad. The 27-year-old's contract expires in 2025, while now City are holding talks with the player's representative over a contract extension.
