Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze for the next season.
Eze shined for the Eagles on Saturday, scoring a double for his team against Southampton. Ferdinand was impressed by the player's display admitting he has been a long-term admirer of the 24-year-old.
Ex-United man believes Eze could be a good fit for Mikel Arteta's team and urges the Gunners to sign the midfielder during the summer transfer window.
“Smooth. If you’re talking about one of the smoothest ballers in the game, in the Premier League right now, Eze’s up there. Mad player. He’s playing like he’s in the cage,” he said on the FIVE YouTube channel, via HITC.
“He’d be good at Arsenal, you know. In the [Granit] Xhaka position. Another year,” he added.
