Liverpool star Jordan Henderson became the latest injury concern for the Reds after he suffered a groin injury in the 2-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday. Henderson underwent successful surgery and though the club have put no timescale on his recovery, according to reports as per
The Times, the captain could be out for as long as eight weeks.
Liverpool say that Henderson will be out until at least after the international break next month. The Reds captain will miss this Sunday's game against Sheffield United, as well as the games against Chelsea, Fulham, Wolves and the Champions League second leg of the round of 16 against RB Leipzig.
If he continues to be out, Henderson will also miss the Reds games against Arsenal, Aston Villa and Leeds United, while his inclusion in the Champions League quarter-finals will also be in doubt.
