Liverpool star wins fastest in Champions League by leaving behind Leroy Sane and Gareth Bale

Liverpool reached the Champions League final for the second year in a row and this time they managed to win the most desired title. Jurgen Klopp's side beat Tottenham 2-0 on June 1st at Wanda Metropolitano, Madrid, Spain. Weeks later it has been revealed that the Reds' defender Virgil van Dijk ran faster than any other player in the Champions League last season, by leaving behind the likes of Leroy Sane, Gareth Bale and others. The Dutch defender isn't really known for his speed when compared with his teammates Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, however, Van Dijk was clocked running at a top speed of 34.5km per hour - faster than anyone else in the competition. While Manchester City's Sane has been clocked running at 34,4km/h and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale at 33.8km/h.
