Liverpool have endured a tough period in the 2022/23 season failing to mark any memorable achievements both in the domestic competitions and in Europe.
The Reds were knocked out of the two cup tournaments: Carabao Cup and FA Cup. They were also been eliminated from the Champions League Round of 16 following the defeat to Real Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp's side finished 5th in the Premier League to book their place in the next season's Europa League. Following the disappointing campaign, they will be looking to regain their fitness for the next one by preparing in the club pre-seasons.
Liverpool pre-season 2023/24 confirmed schedule
Liverpool's pre-season fixtures have been confirmed. The Reds are set to face two German sides following their 4 - 0 win over Leicester City. The latter were relegated to the Championship following the 2022/23 season.
- July 19: Karlsruher 2-4 Liverpool
- July 24: Greuther Furth 4-4 Liverpool
- July 30: Liverpool 4-0 Leicester
- August 2: Liverpool 3-4 Bayern Munich, kick-off 12.30pm (National Stadium, Singapore)
- August 7: Liverpool 3 - 1 Darmstadt, kick-off 7pm (Deepdale)
In the final match of the pre-season, the Reds beat Darmstadt 3-1, with Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota adding their names to the scoresheet.
