Before having signed the extension, the Egyptian star had been linked with a move away from the Reds and was reportedly attracting interest from top European clubs including Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Although Salah extended with the Reds, he might still be on the radar of the top European teams and might consider leaving if the right offer arrives.
