Liverpool's Ben Woodburn has agreed terms for a loan move to Hearts until January, but Jurgen Klopp does not want to let him leave right now, according to
The Scotsman (via
Anfield Watch).
Hearts manager Robbie Neilson has already opened up on the possible transfer of the 21-year-old, whose current deal is set to expire in 2022.
“We are still negotiating with them and trying to get something done," Neilson said.
"He’s keen to come and we’re keen to get him, but he’s a Liverpool player at the moment, so we need to wait for them to make a decision.”
However, the report claims that the Reds manager is concerned, with the club having some injuries among first-team players. Moreover, the new signings are yet to arrive at Anfield. Hence, the German boss may need the 21-year-old for the upcoming matches against Burnley and Chelsea.
