Liverpool physio reveals if Mohamed Salah will fast ahead of Champions League final

The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah will not fast ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid. The Liverpool star is a devout Muslim and has been abstaining from food and drink during daylight hours since the start of Ramadan on May 16, according to the Liverpool Echo. However, Liverpool physiotherapist Ruben Pons has claimed the 25-year-old will be eating in the build-up to the final. "We were in Marbella and the nutritionist established a work plan," he told Spanish radio station Cadena SER. "Friday and the day of the match he won't, so it's not going to affect him." Sadio Mane and Emre Can are also of the Islamic faith, but it’s unknown whether their plans are the same as Salah’s.
