Liverpool make transfer decision on Simon Mignolet
Liverpool consider letting Simon Mignolet leave on loan deal, as reported by LiverpoolECHO.
Belgium international, who has joined Merseyside club from Sunderland in 2013, has lost his place in the starting lineup since the arrival of Alisson Becker from Roma in 2018.
Brazilian star was bought for 65 m and he became one of the best players of the season, helping Liverpool win the Champions League title and winning the Premier League Golden Glove with 21 clean sheets.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp want Mignolet to stay at the club as they value the qualities that Simon has. On the other hand, the goalkeeper, who has more than 300 appearances in England, prefers to have playing time and has told earlier that he would like to leave Anfield.
Reds would consider a loan deal, as they want to earn maximum from the transfer of Mignolet, and at the moment there are no appropriate offers.
