Mohamed Salah could miss up to eight Liverpool games due to Africa Cup of Nations.
The 2023 AFCON begins on January 13 and will conclude on February 14 of 2024. Ivory Coast are the host country for AFCON.
Egypt are currently favorites in the tournament and are expected to progress from their group.
Salah's side are in the same group as Cape Verde, Ghana and Mozambique in Group B.
