Ligue 1 club Le Havre are considering setting off negotiations for Chelsea's forgotten player Malang Sarr.
In 2024, Mauricio Pochettino's side are looking to offload several players, and Sarr is a player that they are actively trying to move before the January window closes.
The 25-year-old, who joined Chelsea in 2020, has struggled to secure a consistent place at Stamford Bridge, having spent time on loan at Porto and Monaco. Despite being back at Chelsea this season, he is yet to feature.
According to Foot Mercato's Santi Aouna, Ligue 1 side Le Havre is currently in discussions with Chelsea to acquire Sarr. The potential move is seen as beneficial for all parties involved, with Chelsea clearing a player from their bloated squad.
Meanwhile, Le Havre will gain a player to bolster their squad, and Sarr would return to a league where he has prior experience for further development.
While the deal's completion remains uncertain with hours left on Deadline Day, Le Havre is reportedly keen to pursue an agreement that aligns with their interests.
