Arsenal legend Liam Brady has recently shared his thoughts on Kai Havertz's recent performance against Tottenham during an appearance on 'The Stand with Eamon Dunphy.'
The Gunners played a 2 - 2 draw with Spurs, sharing the points at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Brady expressed his bewilderment regarding Havertz's approach on the pitch. He raised doubts about Mikel Arteta's choice to acquire the German player and remarked that the 24-year-old lacks a high level of energy in his playing style.
“[Kai] Havertz, I don’t know how to describe him, Eamon. He’s a big, tall six foot two lad, gangly and just kind of drifting around, doesn’t really tackle," the pundit said, via TBR Football.
“Doesn’t get in the box, he doesn’t seem to have much energy about him. I think the jury is well and truly out on whether [Mikel] Arteta has spent the money wisely or not.”
