Leicester City plan to swoop for central defender in January
Leicester City are reportedly planning a swoop for a central defender in the January transfer window. They can use some of the money gained from the sale of Harry Maguire to Manchester United in summer. The report states that the Brendan Rodgers’ side received around £80m in total from the Red Devils for the England International.According to The Telegraph, Leicester are expected to reignite their interest in Bournemouth's Nathan Ake and Burnley's James Tarkowski. They made a late run for Tarkowski in the summer window but could not convince Burnley to sell their star defender. While naming Ake and Tarkowski as targets, the report also suggests Leicester might look for a "cheaper option or even a loan deal".
