Leicester City boss addresses the TWO other clubs in risk of relegation

Leicester City's manager Dean Smith addressed Leeds United and Everton, as well as his own club, ahead of their final matches, which will decide whether the teams will be relegated.

The 52-year-old told Sky Sports, "There’s gonna be a lot of anxiety I think on Sunday for all three teams that are in it, but our job first and foremost is a real tough job against West Ham to try and win that game."

Dean Smith expressed that the team's main objective was to apply pressure on Everton, and they have successfully accomplished that. He emphasized that not many people would have expected them to achieve a positive result in their recent match, which is why he stands by the team's playing style without any apologies. The team's achievement in securing a result in the match has propelled them into the final game with confidence and momentum.

Heavily anxious, all three clubs are still in danger of relegation, with Everton currently in a more favorable position with 33 points. Leeds United currently occupies the least favorable, 19th spot with 31 points, the same amount as Leicester City in the 18th place.

Sam Allardyce's team will face Tottenham Hotspur away, while Leicester will host West Ham United, and Everton will play against Bournemouth at Goodison Park. For Leeds United to avoid relegation, they will need to secure a victory and rely on other results to go in their favor, similar to their previous successful escapes from relegation.

Following their 3-1 loss to West Ham last weekend, the atmosphere among the team was subdued, with Luke Ayling acknowledging the difficulty of regaining motivation for the upcoming match against Tottenham. In contrast, Leicester secured their first clean sheet in approximately 20 games, earning a draw against Newcastle United on Monday night. This result allowed them to surpass Leeds United in the league table based on goal difference. Leicester will aim to maintain their positive momentum as they face West Ham, led by manager David Moyes.
