“Laughable”-Tottenham fans fume as Spurs release season tickets details for 2020/21

Tottenham Hotspur have announced their season ticket prices for the 2020/21 season. The price increased between £12 and £33 for an adult ticket. Thus, for an adult price has increased from £795 to £807, with the cheapest price for senior and juniors rising to £404 for the season. In a statement on their official website, Tottenham explained the price increase: "We fully appreciate and recognise the significant commitment our Season Ticket Holders make both in purchasing and attending," it read. "As the price chart below shows, whilst inflation has increased our costs, we have sought to limit the Season Ticket price increase to between £12 and £33 for Adult tickets and between £6 and £9 for Concessions, keeping them below the actual rate of inflation. Barring any unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, these prices are fixed for the next two seasons – 2020/21 and 2021/22." Spurs fans took to social media to give their reaction to the rise in prices.

Cos the club really need that extra £20 or so per fan. Getting fed up with the greed at the club. Club seeming to perform financially superior yet still wants more from loyal fans. Oh yeah, also, bring free cup games back.

Considering theres a good chance we wont be in the CL next year, and the team is worse than it was at this point last season, raising ticket prices is a joke. Less fans will renew their tickets, leading to a worse atmosphere at games which will only hurt us. Just stupid
