Thomas Partey's future at Arsenal appears uncertain, with two Spanish clubs reportedly vying for the midfielder's signature in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old who has struggled with injuries and made only five appearances for the Gunners this season, was a key player in Arsenal's pursuit of the Premier League title last season. However, his value has diminished recently, and manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly eyeing Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi as a potential replacement.
Despite having a contract with Arsenal until 2025, it is suggested that this summer presents the optimal time to sell Partey. Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad are said to be interested in acquiring the Ghanaian star for a fee not exceeding €15 million.
Real Sociedad's good relationship with Arsenal could potentially lead to Partey being included in a deal for Zubimendi.
Having previously played for Atletico Madrid, a return to the club under the management of Diego Simeone is deemed a possibility for the 30-year-old midfielder. However, the success of a potential deal with either club remains uncertain.
