Kevin Campbell has urged Everton to hire Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou if Frank Lampard gets sacked.
The former England international is under pressure following his side's poor performances in the Premier League.
As the club football is currently on a break due to World Cup 2022, the Toffees sit at 17th in the table with a point above the relegation zone.
Speaking to Football Insider, the ex-Everton striker has admitted he still sees Lampard as the 'right man' but Postecoglou could 'potentially' take over Goodison Park f the club decide to part ways with the current coach.
“I think Lampard is the man for the job right now. But who knows? He could be sacked next week.
“What Postecoglou has done at Celtic has been remarkable. He came with a resume that no one really knew too much about, as a wildcard – and he’s made a real difference.
“Could I see him taking that to Everton? Potentially." added Campbell.
The Greek boss received the league 'Manager of the Month' five times during his first season with the Scottish side in 2021.
