Kante opens up about changes at Chelsea and his retirement age

In a fresh interview with Football Daily, Chelsea defender N'Golo Kante opened up about his future plans with the club and retirement.

"I want many things, I really enjoy this part of my career" said the France international, adding that his main target is to add some more titles, trophies and overall enjoyable experiences on the pitch.

To the question of his retirement age, the 32-year-old Kante said that he cannot determine that yet and that it will be decided on a mix of factors. "As far as my body is good, as far as my mind is good and I keep enjoying football and I have some opportunities from the club, I will carry on" said the Frenchman.

"Yes, for sure", said Kante to emphasize that he would like to be part of Chelsea's exciting project taking up a new generation at Stamford Bridge. Despite facing a challenging season, Kante believes that the new players will reach new highs in the future. As for him, the Chelsea veteran will try to contribute to the success of his club and hopes for the best in that path.

N'Golo Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer of 2016, after playing a pivotal role in their remarkable Premier League title triumph. He has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in world football and has played a crucial role in the club's recent success, helping them to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and Europa League.
