Kai Havertz has broken the silence after Germany's recent World Cup elimination.
The European giants got knocked out from the biggest football competition's group stages for the second time in a row.
Hansi Flick's side started the tournament with a shocking 1 - 2 defeat to Japan following the 1 - 1 draw with Spain on the second matchday, meanwhile, the 4 - 2 victory over Costa Rica didn't help Germany to secure their place in the Round of 2016.
Therefore, Chelsea's star, who found the back of Keylor Navas' net twice during the clash, sent a 'disappointed' message before paying tribute to fellow Group E winners Japan.
"It’s taken some time to understand what to say… We’re all very frustrated, disappointed and many other feelings, it will take weeks to process this. Life is about ups and downs and it’s about coming back stronger from this!" wrote Havertz.
"Sometimes you get the high moments like Japan did who played so well and sometimes you’re left on the other side feeling this pain, it is why football is such an amazing sport. We feel the pain of the nation. Thank you for the support as always!"
