Jurgen Klopp out? Liverpool fan quizzed on possible sacking of German coach after Atalanta loss

One frustrated Liverpool fan has claimed Jurgen Klopp has progressed the club as far as he can, but now he is taking the Reds backwards. Premier League champions have faced an injury crisis this term, with a number of key players being out of action. Moreover, Liverpool were beaten 2 - 0 by Atalanta in the Champions League last night that saw them dropping three points in the group stage. Speaking about the latest situation, David the Liverpool fan told the Sports Bar: “I think we have to consider, is Jurgen Klopp that great? “Is he as good as Bob Paisley or Bill Shankly? No. Will he ever win as many trophies as them? No. “He won’t stay that long and he’s moaning now about fixture pile-ups. Why did he not get someone in the summer knowing if Virgil van Dijk got injured, who have they got for cover? There is no cover for Virgil van Dijk! “The 7-2 against Aston Villa I did not think would be a one-off; it’s not a one-off and it’s happening again. “Liverpool have only got a plus five goal difference and Spurs, in the league, have a plus 12 goal difference! “How are Liverpool going to get that goal difference up in the league if they are conceding goals? They lost at home again, they lost at home to Atletico Madrid, I don’t know what Jurgen Klopp is doing. “Has he taken Liverpool as far as he can? Possibly. Will he win anymore trophies with Liverpool? I’m not sure and the way they played tonight they won’t.” Sports Bar host Andy Goldstein then asked the club supporter: “Do you want Jurgen Klopp out?”, while David replied: “I don’t think he’ll win any more trophies with us, we’re going backwards now because he’s making the excuses.” Goldstein asked again: “Do you want him out?" And the Reds fan added: “After the 7-2 against Aston Villa, I was embarrassed. I want to see how we do over the next few matches as I’ve got a feeling this is going to happen again because it’s happened twice. “We were 2-0 up against Atletico Madrid and we lost that. I don’t know what he’s doing. There’s something wrong with our defence.”
