Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has expressed his thoughts on Chelsea's recent struggles in the Premier League and in Europe, suggesting that the club's ownership may have given their coaches an impossible job to do.
Despite spending over £600 million on new players, the Blues have failed to produce positive results on the pitch, leading to the sacking of their former boss Graham Potter.
According to reports, Chelsea players are now being forced to train on separate pitches due to the need for additional space for changing facilities.
When asked about Chelsea's situation, Klopp admitted feeling a bit "happy" to see the Premier League rivals in this situation. He emphasized that simply having good players is not enough to achieve success and that it takes more than just talent to build a strong team. According to the Reds' boss, it's important to have a cohesive team with a clear vision and purpose.
"You have to build a team and that’s what the guys there underestimated and gave their coaches a nearly impossible job to do. You cannot have two dressing rooms, you cannot train on two pitches, you have to create relationships, you have to create team spirit, and that’s the only reason why I’m a little bit happy about it," Klopp told Sky Sports.
