Juan Mata sends heartfelt message to Luke Shaw

Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw will return to the club on Monday after the FA confirmed that the England player suffered a concussion. Shaw suffered a sickening injury during England’s defeat to Spain after a collision with Dani Carvajal during the Nations League game at Wembley. Juan Mata was upset at seeing Shaw carried off on a stretcher wearing an oxygen mask. Juan Mata has sent Manchester United pal Luke Shaw “a big hug” following his sickening clash of heads. “The worst news from the match was Luke Shaw’s collision, which forced him off the field due to injury,” wrote Mata in his weekly blog. “As you’re all aware, he has been in really good form over the last few weeks. I hope that it won’t be anything serious and that he can be back fit as soon as possible. “I’m sending you a big hug and my best wishes, Luke.”
