Simon Philips has given an update on Mason Mount's future ahead of Chelsea exit links.
The 24-year-old is in the last 18 months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and the negotiations with the club over an extension have not yet led to an agreement.
Since joining the west Londonderr's senior team from the academy, the England international was contributed to 70 goals out of his 192 outings in the blue shirt.
According to the journalist, the club co-owner Todd Boehly himself directly is willing to attempt to keep the midfielder at Stamford Bridge ahead of the new season.
“As far as I know, as far as I’m told, Chelsea want to keep hold of Mount. Boehly personally wants to keep hold of Mount. Mount wants to stay at Chelsea. The big problem is, the terms are so far apart at the moment." stated Philips via GIVEMESPORT.
